Warranty Policy

Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems Co., Ltd. is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction with our products. As such, we offer a comprehensive warranty policy for all Burmese amber stones and jewelry sold directly through our shops and website. Our warranty policy consists of the following terms and conditions:

  1. Authenticity Warranty: We guarantee the authenticity of all Burmese amber stones sold by Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems Co., Ltd. If a customer can prove that a purchased Burmese amber stone is not authentic, we will provide a replacement stone of equal value or a full refund of the purchase price.

  2. Manufacturing Defects Warranty: If a Burmese amber stone is set in metal works, Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems Co., Ltd. provides a 1-year warranty for repairs due to manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, accidents, or modifications made by third parties. To be eligible for warranty service, customers must provide proof of purchase.

  3. Inspection Requirement: Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems Co., Ltd. reserves the right to inspect any product before fulfilling warranty claims. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

  4. One-Year Jewelry Warranty: Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems Co., Ltd. is pleased to offer our customers a one-year warranty on jewelry purchased through our shops and website. The warranty period starts from the date the customer receives the goods for the first time.

  5. Coverage of Repairs: Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems Co., Ltd. will cover the cost of repair for any piece of jewelry that is still under warranty, for only defects resulting from normal wear, such as cleaning and re-threading amber or jede beads.

  6. Limitations of Warranty Coverage: The warranty does not cover re-sizing, nor does it cover extraordinary damage or wear, which will be determined upon inspection solely by Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems representative.

  7. Loss and Theft Exclusion: The warranty does not cover loss or theft of the jewelry in part or its entirety.

  8. Warranty Claim Process: If a defect is discovered within the period of the warranty, the jewelry must be returned to Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems for inspection. Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems alone will determine if the defect is due to normal wear or extraordinary circumstances. Any jewelry re-sized or altered in any way by a third party not under the ownership of Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems, or without our authorization, will forfeit the warranty.

  9. Shipping Costs Exclusion: The warranty will not cover any shipping costs incurred by the customer, unless Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems confirms that the jewelry is genuinely defective as per the policy's criteria.

  10. Repairs Payment Responsibility: If it is determined that the jewelry has been damaged outside the bounds of the warranty, due to unusual or extreme wear or use, the customer will be held liable to pay for all repairs, as well as any shipping or insurance costs incurred.

We take pride in our jewelry, and we want our customers to feel confident in their purchases. As such, Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems Co., Ltd. will report to the customer any necessary repair required, prior to implementing the repairs. We will be sure to inform the customer if the repair does or does not fall within the bounds of the warranty.
