Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems is pleased to offer our customers with a one-year warranty on jewelry purchased through the shop.

1. The jewelry warranty and service policy will remain available to each client who purchases from Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems. for a period of one-years from the date of purchase.

The offer is available only on all jewelry sold directly through the Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems shops, websites: www.vickyamber.com / www.facebook.com/vkmmamber or any affiliated marketing & sales channels, with the following conditions applicable.
 

The one year warranty is form the date the customer receives the goods for the first time.

2. Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems will cover the cost of repair, on any piece of jewelry that is still under guarantee, for only defects resulting from normal wear, such as cleaning and re-threading amber or jede beads.

3. The warranty does not cover re-sizing, nor does it cover extraordinary damage or wear, which will be determined upon inspection solely by Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems representative. For any questions regarding our re-sizing, replacing pendants or beads, please see next section.

4. The warranty does not cover loss or theft of the jewelry in part or its entirety.

5. If a defect is discovered within the period of the warranty, the jewelry must be returned to Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems for inspection. Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems alone, will determine if the defect is due to normal wear or extraordinary circumstances.

6. Any jewelry re-sized or altered in anyway by a 3rd party not under the ownership of Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems, or without the authorization of Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems, will forfeit the warranty.

7. The warranty will cover shipping costs to the customer, only if it is determined by Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems that the jewelry is in fact defective within the bounds of the policy. (I.e. that it is defective within the bounds of normal wear and tear).

8. Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems will re-reimburse the shipping and insurance costs incurred by the customer once the jewelry inspection is completed.

Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems alone will determine the best way for the jewelry to be returned to its offices and provide instructions to the customer accordingly. If the jewelry is returned in any other way other than the instructions given, Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems will not be held liable for expenses, damage, or any loss incurred.

9. If it is determined that the jewelry has been damaged outside the bounds of the warranty, due to unusual or extreme wear or use, the customer will be held liable to pay for all repairs, as well as any shipping or insurance costs incurred.

10. Due to the nature of this type of jewelry, Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems will not be liable for damage to any chains that break on pendants, necklaces, and bracelets. Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems will not be held liable for damage to ear-backs, or other body jewelry.

11. Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems will report to the customer any necessary repair required, prior to implementing the repairs. Vicky Burmese Amber & Gems will be sure to inform the customer if the repair does or does not fall within the bounds of the warranty.

Amber is a delicate and a gentle stone that must be treated with respect and taken good care of. There are certain rules that you have to follow to keep your amber jewelry in a perfect condition:

1. Never leave your amber under direct sunlight.
2. Keep your jewelry away from too much hot or cold temperature.
3. Always apply your perfume and hairspray before wearing the jewelry.
4. Never wash dishes or do laundry with your jewelry on.
5. Avoid cooking or cleaning your house with household cleansers while wearing an amber product.
6. Store your amber in a separate jewelry casket and protect it from getting in touch with other materials.
7. Clean your jewelry every time you wear it.
8. Ultrasonic or steam cleaner isn’t suitable for cleaning amber.
9. Always clean your amber jewelry with a mild solution of soapy and slightly warm water and use a flannel cloth.
10. Polish and make it shiny with olive oil and a soft cloth.
